I offer direct consultation with both students and parents.
I typically meet with students for 30-40 minutes weekly. We text and/or call to monitor assignments, plan short and long range goals, and address any other issues The key factor is to keep the accountability component in the forefront.
If a student is not able to meet directly, technology comes to the rescue! A designated phone call or FaceTime weekly appointments will be made. All students receive text reminders of our meetings.
Parents may call or email whenever they need a catch-up or have a concern. Together, we can discern the best practices to support you and your student from a distance.

Common Student Concerns
“College is lots harder than I expected.”
“I don’t know what classes to take next semester.”
“I totally bombed my test and I’m going to flunk! Help!”
“How am I going to get everything done this week? What do I do first?”
“I am so anxious – I can’t sleep or study. What do I do?”
Common Parental Concerns
“We are concerned he will party more than study.”
“We don’t know what his grades are and don’t want him to think we don’t think he can be successful.”
“Is she taking her medication?”
“The Advisor and Office of Disabilities won’t talk to us and we are concerned she is over her head. Between her counselor and us, she made it through high school. We think she needs a ‘person’ to connect with on campus.”
“Coaching can fuel the courage to step out beyond the comfortable and familiar, can help people learn from their experiences and can literally and metaphorically increase and help fulfill a person’s potential.”
